This guided bus tour takes you to some of Iceland’s top attractions, starting with Þingvellir National Park, an area renowned for its remarkable geology and historical significance.Next, you’ll see the great Geysir and other hot springs before checking out Gullfoss ("Golden Falls"), one of Iceland’s most awe-inspiring waterfalls. On the way back to Reykjavik, the tour makes a stop at the dormant caldera of Kerið and historic Skálholt, the ancient seat of Iceland’s bishops. |

31 Dec. – New Year's Eve with a BangEnjoy the early part of the day relaxing at one of the city's thermal pools or do some shopping along Laugavegur, the main shopping street (most shops are open until 13:00 today). You may also wish to join one of our optional tours, such as the Reykjavik City Sightseeing Tour or horseback riding.In the evening, enjoy a special New Year’s Eve dinner show at the Hilton Nordica Hotel, complete with a welcome drink, confetti, live entertainment and gourmet Nordic cuisine prepared by the award-winning chefs of VOX Restaurant. Just before midnight, you will be taken to one of Reykjavik's best viewing spots, the Hallgrímskirkja church, to watch the fireworks explode over the city (sparklers included!).* From there, the rest of the evening is up to you. Icelanders are known to celebrate this holiday into the wee hours of the morning. If you're up to it, why not join them at the bars and clubs in downtown Reykjavík? *Transfer to Hilton Nordica Hotel or wine during dinner not included.
