The Icelandic fish is one of the world’s best ingredients and the restaurant Þrír Frakkar specialises in making the best out of it. It is a family business with a great atmosphere located in downtown Reykjavík (Baldursgata 14) and run by master chef Úlfar Eysteinsson. Together the owners incredible selections of fish dishes, which they have become quite famous for, like salted cod, grilled catfish, fried fish-chins and the famous Icelandic speciality, hashed fish with black bread. But they also offer vegetable and meet courses for those who so prefer, and the whale pepper steak is probably one of the best you can get. Don’t miss out on that!
