BrimBrim is the Icelandic word for "surf," and is dedicated to outfitting shoppers in skate and surf apparel. There are two Brim locations in Reykjavík, one on the main shopping street Laugavegur, and another at Kringlan.
The store stocks up to 25 labels in its surprisingly large premises (you'll notice their sign on Laugavegur advertising their 300 square meter basement), including the popular Billabong, Element, Nfa, Option and Adio. It also has the Icelandic label Nikita, which started out as an effort by a local skating and surfing girl. Nikita, a clothing line for “girls who ride”, has expanded due to demand, and is now sold in 30 countries the world over.
