Surf, board and skate in style.

The skate and streetwear styles are popular the world over, and are steadily and incessantly gaining popularity. As the name af this store, which is Icelandic for surf, conveys – these stores are dedicated to everything having to do with surfing, snowboarding or skateboarding. The fact that the stores are riders’ owned and independent means that the service and advice you will get comes from a personnel who shares your passion.

There are two stores to be found in Reykjavík, one on the main shopping street Laugavegur, and another at Kringlan. Whichever you choose to visit, they are absolutely the place to go for all admirers and followers of the surf/skate lifestyle and fashion – or parents on the lookout for a perfect gift to bring home to a skater teenager.

The only real skate and streetwear store in Reykjavík truly is full to the brim of cool, new fashions. The store stocks up to 25 labels in its surprisingly big premises, including the world renowned Billabong, Element, Nfa, Option and Adio. It also has the Icelandic label Nikita, which started out as an effort by a local skating and surfing girl. Nikita, a clothing line for “girls who ride”, has expanded due to demand, and is now sold in 30 countries the world over.

Brim is a paradise for all riders, and the bliss is just heightened by the low prices. With prices about 30-40% lower than in nearby Scandinavia, Brim is a store for teenagers of all ages.
