Visitors to Reykjavik experience easily the pure energy at the heart of Iceland's capital city - whether from the boiling thermal energy underground, the natural green energy within the city and around it, or the lively culture and fun-filled nightlife.

Hafnarfjörður - The Town in the Lava

Hafnarfjordur is a friendly town only 10 minutes south of Reykjavík, is worth visiting. The town is built in the lava right by the coast and surrounded by natural beauty. It is a thriving fishing community whose history goes back many centuries. Its name simply means 'harbour fjord'.

Kópavogur - Old Meets Modern
