In Reykjavík, you could take the Greater Reykjavík Sightseeing Tour to get a good overview of the city, this tour only takes about 2.5 hours. Four days In addition to Reykjavík, the Golden Circle Tour and The Blue Lagoon Tour you could also visit the highland area of Landmannalaugar and take one of the following tours: The South Coast, Snæfellsnes or The Langjökull Tour via the Kaldidalur mountain road. 
Two weeks As above plus, Skaftafell, Vatnajökull, Jökulsárlón, Vestmanneyjar and Jökulsárgljúfur. If you are planning to travel around the country for two weeks, renting a car gives you greater flexibility than using the scheduled bus service. If you are travelling in a group of two or more people, the cost of renting a car also works out cheaper than public transport. Bear in mind the highland areas are only accessible by 4WD. You can choose to rent a 4WD or to take one of our excellent guided tours through these areas.
