Located in Laugarás in Biskupstungur, one of the most amazing districts in Iceland, is the petting zoo Slakki, a large outdoor area, ideal for a special family trip. Slakki is only 100 km south from Reykjavík, and there you can enjoy the beautiful countryside among Icelandic farm animals like rabbits, puppies, kittens, turkeys, foxes, goats, geese, ducks, and chickens.

In a charming wooden house in Kirjulækur is a great café named Kaffi Langbrók. In a warm and homey atmosphere they offer fabulous waffles and coffee, which they have become quite famous for. Kirkjulækur is in the southern part of Iceland surrounded by natural beauty and exciting landmarks to see. After a long day of sightseeing it is excellent to relax, have cup of coffee and a waffle with cream and jam and you won't find a better place for that than Kaffi Langbrók.

The Akureyri Swimming Pool - Þingvallastræti Akureyri, Tel. 461 4455

is a world-class water paradise. In recent years, great improvements have been made to the pool. New water chutes and hot pots have been added and everything has been maintained in the best possible way.
